Who We Are

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from New York City College of Technology in Communication Design and a Master's Degree in Art Education from Queens College in May 2020. My teaching experience includes instructing adult, 1st to 9th grade students in Art Studio and public schools. Additionally, I have worked as a graphic designer and illustrator, where I developed creative concepts for various design projects. While my background is primarily in the arts, I understand the significance of art education. I am confident that my teaching and working experiences will benefit any school's art program. In my previous roles, I taught drawing, painting, sculpturing, and handcrafting. I also designed graphics using Adobe programs, such as posters, brochures, menus, T-shirts, magazine ads, logos, and retouched photos. I have learned the importance of building strong relationships with both art and art education. I am skilled at working collaboratively with art instructors to develop better art curriculums, communicating with parents to identify their children's artistic talents and abilities, and working with design teams to create and advertise campaigns. Additionally, I currently attend Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts school. I enrolled in this training to improve my self-confidence, leadership skills, and communication abilities. Over the years, I have honed my communication skills and gained self-confidence, which has contributed to my leadership skills. In my classroom, I plan to use my knowledge gained from martial arts training to help my students with self-management and communication skills.
